Earn CDE while you learn
Whether you work in a pediatric dental office, are looking to earn CDE to renew your DANB certification or meet state requirements, or are just looking to expand your knowledge, this set of five articles from the journal Pediatric Dentistry* provides some of the most up-to-date studies on a variety of issues that affect young patients — from the influence of a novel pacifier on the development of anterior open bite in infants to the incidence of oral piercing injuries in young adults.
You have six months to read and review the articles, so you can work at your own pace, on your own schedule. In addition, the online, interactive format allows you to take notes and access a glossary while you read, so you can make sure you understand the information.
A 50-question assessment measures your comprehension of the material; you can choose to answer relevant questions as you read each article, or you can take the full assessment after reading and reviewing all five articles. You will earn 12 CDE credits when you achieve a passing score of 75% on this assessment. You will receive a pass or fail score immediately after completing all 50 questions on the assessment, and can take the assessment more than once if needed.
*This CDEA product contains the same articles as DANB’s PDEP module in Pediatric Dentistry. DANB certificants who have already taken the Pediatric Dentistry PDEP should not also purchase the CDEA module on Pediatric Dentistry.
